Training Series: Confident in Therapy and worldview Questions
The IZRD's pilot project from last year can continue and expand in 2025 thanks to renewed funding from the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale politische Bildung). In the second half of the year, there will once again be a series of expert lectures (online) as well as at least three professional trainings (both online and in-person in Berlin) for professionals in psychological counseling and psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, psychiatry, and other psychosocial professions.
Additionally, two new elements will be introduced in the first half of the year: Alongside at least two professional training sessions in May and June (more details below), a specialist conference on perspectives on racism and right-wing extremism in therapy is planned for the summer (in-person in Berlin).
All formats are free of charge, and certification for professional development credits will be requested for all events from the Psychotherapists' Chamber (Psychotherapeutenkammer) Berlin.
